William Webster, pastor, apologist, and former Roman Catholic, has recently published a rather lengthy review of Francis Beckwith's book, Return to Rome: Confessions of an Evangelical Catholic. Dr. Beckwith rather quickly discovered the review (which he calls "negative"). He penned a brief response on his 'Return to Rome' blog with the caveat that he is unable to do more due to time constraints. What he did write was fairly typical; he continues to tilt at windmills. I found it interesting that he closed his comment section for this particular post. I can't speak to his motive for doing so, but it makes it appear that he would rather not engage in any dialogue.
