Here are a few pictures of my vintage radio collection . . .

This radio was given to me when a friend remarked about how I like the old consoles. He said, "You want an old radio? We've got an old one that's been in the attic for years that you can have." It was in rough, but workable shape.

I received the radio sometime around 2004 but didn't get to working on it until May and June of 2006. Here's what it looked like before I started refinishing it.
I wasn't looking to do a perfect job. I just wanted to make it look presentable. Even thought it was pretty rough, I decided to keep the original speaker cloth intact.
Two pictures of the chassis. Even though it hadn't been powered up for decades, the radio worked albeit with a loud hum. When I put it back together afterward, however, it stopped working completely.
The finished product. A local man whose daughter owns an antique shop in town rebuilt the chassis for me and it plays spectacularly!

Inherited from my grandparents on my mother's side. I've owned this radio since I was 11 years old. It works great!
